My very first visit to Bali has brought me to visit the infamous Tanah Lot Temple. This geological rock formation is home of a pilgrimage temple, the Purah Tanah Lot (Tanah Lot Temple). This temple was built as part of Balinese mythology for centuries as is one of seven sea temples around Balinese coast with significant Hindu influence (Wikipedia, 2014). Popular as a tourist attraction, and cultural icon for photography especially the sunset, I was a little not so fortunate to be able to experience the 'legendary sunset on that day due to cloudy weather. Perhaps it's an indicator for a second return in the near future.
