Lui Yan Kai aka The Ladies Street or some call it Tung Choi Street is a famous shoping street in Mongkok, Hong Kong. It's similiar to the Petaling Street except that most of the stalls are operated by ladies. Souvenirs, clothings, bags etc could be bought here and of course you need to bargain as usual. It's opened daily from afternoon until 12am midnite. A very congested but interesting place to move around.. but BEWARE of pickpockets. Hong Kong is a safe place as there're no hardcore crimes such as snatch thief, robberies..u know what i mean. In other words, HK is a safe place to move around even alone at night..no problem..I really mean what I say here..As safe as Japan I would dare to say. But of course like Japan, HK have triad society..biasa ler..but their police force also damn efficient and effective..what you see in TVB series is what you see in HK. Ok enough about this..take a look at the pics here.
The less congested outer area
The typical street as seen on TVB series
Ori software ..dun play play ar..it's on sale at the newsvendor..I have not seen any pirated software here...pirated DVD yes...BUT..they only start operating at night starting from around 12am...
No parking sign i guess with specific time given...good leh..flexibility given at night
Saw that warning sign? My advise is Don't you ever try challenge that warning...you will get summons on the spot..and dun worry..there won't be any enforcer in normal clothings..there's no need to hide..their work is to prevent indefinitely..unless u wanna cari pasal ler..the summons are at least rm700....if you wanna donate some money..try it on..hehe
That's all for now..photos on Tsim Sha Tsui district will be posted soon after I'm back from my Mount Kinabalu Trip. that will be next week..see ya and good luck!!
