This AIT trip was organised by the Student Union during the Songkran Festival on the month of April '08. We went by bus and guess what, due to jam on the first day of Songkran (Thai New Year) the journey took...well..16 hours from Bangkok to the pier..and then about 2 hours to Koh Samui on the Ferry..(18 hours overall). Luckily the bus was very comfortable..one person taking 2 seats..yeah. When we reach on the island, well the pier's a lil muddy..but when u get over to the other side..it's very clean. This trip was a '3 days 2 nites' trip and I paid about rm500 including, hotels and transportation and finally it took only 15 hours to get back to AIT..phew. Ok enuff said..here's the photo for you to indulge =)
Double Decker bus on the go..it's very common to see such tour bus in Thailand

On the way..
That's me on da ferry
Dinner time!
Small but nice pool
On da boat to other Island for Kayaking and Snorkelling.
Meet Chloe of Leeds, England
Blue sea..on the way to Kayaking
Kayaking activity
Stony beach..only some parts..
