Speaking of Spain and you will imagine a heroic guy in colourful clothes battling bull. Not to mention they are the current world champion in football and the second biggest in the world in tourism industry. Officially the Kingdom of Spain, Spain is a sovereign state and a member of the European Union located in South Western Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. The mainland of Spain is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar; to the north and north east by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the northwest and west by the Atlantic Ocean and Portugal. Grab some Spanish Holidays packages and discover the colourful and vibrant world. Though I have not been to Spain…yet..personally, I would like to recommend some of the top Spanish destination.

Sagrada Família
The Sagrada Familia is a must visit place in Spain. Your visit will not be completed if you do not visit this magnificent structure. The Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family (Basílica y Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia), commonly known as the Sagrada Familia is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In November 2010 was consecrated and proclaimed a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI. Describing Sagrada Familia, art critic Rainer Zerbst said "it is probably impossible to find a church building anything like it in the entire history of art" and Paul Goldberger called it 'the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages'.

Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela
Yet another cool cathedral to be added into my European travel list, the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Galicia, Spain. The cathedral is the reputed burial-place of Saint James the Greater, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. Wow! It is the destination of the Way of St. James, a major historical pilgrimage route since the Middle Ages.
