Some of the view inside the temples..
and here are the LANTERNS...they are lit with names of donor to the temple with their wishes written on the paper...
It's been a while since my last posting because of the celebration. And today it's going to be the first posting from Penang since 2 years ago...it's going to be the colorful brilliant lighting of Kek Lok Si or known as Pagoda Temple. A little historical note about this temple: the construction began in the year 1890 and fully completed by the year 1930. The pagoda housed small 10000 Buddhas and the statue of the bronze statue od Goddess of Mercy was completed in the year 2002, while the current pavillion has just been completed last December 2009 (90% actually) and it's applying to be the largest octagonal pavillion in the world.
Nuff said,,let's enjoy the pics which some of them are taken from a secret position?hehe
